The delivery service Instacart is teaming up with electronics retailer Best Buy to provide same-day delivery across the U.S. The news is great for shoppers since Black Friday deals online continue to launch daily throughout the month and with in-store shopping being less desirable during the current pandemic. Instacart’s same-day delivery for Best Buy will be available at almost all 1,000 Best Buy stores in the U.S. making the new partnership accessible to almost anyone with a Best Buy store near them.
By providing same-day delivery, Best Buy now competes with Amazon Prime’s superb delivery service and offers competitive express delivery pricing with just $3.99 added to Best Buy orders for the convenience of Instacart’s same-day delivery. Without Instacart, Best Buy packages are delivered through FedEx, UPS, or the USPS, which rarely results in same-day delivery. Now with the new partnership, an Instacart “personal shopper” can pick up your order from your local Best Buy and bring it to your door within the same day and sometimes within hours.

How To Order From Best Buy With Instacart
Shoppers just need to download the Instacart app, browse hundreds of Best Buy products, add them to the cart, set a delivery time, and place the order. If you don’t want your item delivered on the same day, Instart allows customers to set up a delivery time up to five days out.
Unfortunately, the $500 limit restricts certain products from being delivered with Instacart. And, given that Best Buy is an electronics store, $500 might be a little tough to stay under if you are looking for a new extra-large TV, washer/dryer or refrigerator.
Instacart also rolled out a feature to guarantee the safe delivery of your expensive products. If you are worried about tech gadgets getting to your doorstep safely, Instacart offers a new service called Certified Delivery. Using the Instacart app, customers can track their “high-value item” and confirm delivery and receipt of the product. Shoppers use their smartphone to accept and sign when a package is delivered to verify the customer’s identity.
