- Pokémon Sword and Shield Release Date: November 15th, 2019
- Editions Available: Sword, Shield
- Platform: Nintendo Switch
- MSRP for Pokémon Sword and Shield: Sword – $59.99 | Shield – $59.99
Amazon currently has Pokémon Sword and Shield for $39.99 each, or $20 off MSRP. This is the same price we saw on Prime Day 2020 (and one of the best prices we’ve seen for the game, period), but be warned: it sold out fast last time!
Alternatively, Best Buy appears to have the same offer for both Sword and Shield.
With a history spanning over 20 years, Pokémon has captured the hearts and minds of fans for generations. It’s literally the highest-grossing media franchise of all time. The newest generation of the classic RPG series hit stores last November so by this point it has received a few $10-$20 discounts.
We’ve rounded up all the best deals for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Be sure to check back in on this article for updates throughout the year!
Where to Find the Best Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Deals
CDKeys
CDKeys has Sword and Shield for about $56, but keep in mind it is the digital copy of the game.
It’s also worth noting CDKeys is selling the European version of these titles, but luckily Nintendo does not region-lock its games. If you’re willing to create a new, European account for your Switch, you can take advantage of this deal and soon you’ll be running from all the Bewears!
Amazon
As mentioned above, Amazon has both Sword and Shield for $39.99, the current best price for physical copies.
Walmart
While it’s not a huge discount, Walmart does have a pretty good price on both Pokémon Sword and Shield. You can order Sword for $54.90 or Shield for just a little bit more at $54.95. Why one costs more than the other is unclear, but perhaps some Walmart Executive has a preference in Legendaries…
Best Buy
Best Buy has the best deals on Pokémon Sword and Shield, offering both editions at $39.99.
GameStop
Even if you’re not a GameStop member, you still have the option to order Pokémon Sword and Shield from the outlet.
Both games are live on GameStop for the standard $59.99, or for $37.99 used. Since there are other options available, we can’t recommend this route as a first option, but it’s still worth considering if the above deals sell out.
